Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ontario) of the Providence College women's hockey team was named Hockey East Co-Player of the Week on Monday, Feb. 17, marking her third selection this season.
Kirchmair tallied four assists in the Friars' weekend sweep of No. 14/14 UConn. The junior notched two assists in Friday's 3-1 victory and added two more in Saturday's 4-2 win. With those performances, Kirchmair registered her eighth and ninth multi-point games of the season and 18th of her career. The Friars improved to 10-2-0 this season when Kirchmair records an assist.
Kirchmair leads the Friars with 34 points on 17 goals and 17 assists, ranking first in Hockey East in both overall and conference scoring. Her current six-game point streak ties the longest of her career.

Providence will conclude its regular season next weekend with a home-and-home series against Merrimack College, starting Friday, Feb. 21, in North Andover, Mass., and wrapping up at home in Providence, R.I., on Saturday, Feb. 22.
