MISSION STATEMENT
The physical and emotional well-being of all PC student-athletes is our first priority. We are committed to providing the most comprehensive and safest health care possible. In conjunction with our team physicians, our goal is to establish evaluations, treatments and rehabilitation protocols for each individual, taking into consideration the sport in which the student-athlete participates. The primary goal of the "Team" is to return the student-athletes to their full playing status in the safest and quickest manner possible. The scope of the athletic training services encompasses various domains, which include injury recognition, treatment, rehabilitation, prevention, education and counseling that will enable the student-athlete to maintain optimal quality of life beyond the span of athletic competition.

STAFF
The sports medicine staff is comprised of nine certified athletic trainers; all certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association and licensed by the State of Rhode Island. Athletic training students (work- study and interns), designated team physicians and a host of medical consultants and sub-specialists supplement the primary staff. The staff is responsible for the healthcare of 19 NCAA Division I athletic teams and more than 370 student-athletes.
