PROVIDENCE, R.I. –
Audrey Knapp (Stevens Point, Wis.) of the Providence College women's hockey team has been honored as the Hockey East Player of the Month for February, marking her second conference recognition this season.
Knapp registered five goals and five assists for 10 points across seven games in February, helping the Friars to a 5-2-0 record. The sophomore forward recorded four multi-point performances and netted one game-winning goal.
This season, Knapp totaled 19 goals and 16 assists for 35 points, ranking second on the team. In conference play, she scored 15 goals, tying teammate
Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ontario) for the Hockey East lead—the first Friars to do so since Sara Hjalmarsson '22, '23G in 2022-23.
Knapp also earned Hockey East Player of the Week honors on Feb. 3. Her season featured nine multi-point games, two outings with three or more points and a hat trick against the University of Maine in a 3-2 overtime win on Jan. 31.
