Men’s Basketball Announces Non-Conference Schedule

The Friars will play 11 non-conference games this season.
PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Providence College men's basketball team's 2025-26 non-conference schedule was announced today (June 17). The Friars will play 11 non-conference games to open the 2025-26 season. Providence will open the season against Holy Cross on Monday, Nov. 3 at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.
In addition to their home opener versus Holy Cross, the Friars' other home games will be versus Penn (Tuesday, Nov. 11), New Hampshire (Tuesday, Nov. 18), Fairleigh Dickinson (Tuesday, Dec. 2), Rhode Island (Tuesday, Dec. 6) and Brown (Tuesday, Dec. 9).
The team's road game during the non-conference season will be at the University of Colorado on Friday, Nov. 14.
In the team's first neutral site contest of the season, the Friars will play Virginia Tech in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn. on Saturday, Nov. 8.
On Saturday, Nov. 22, the Friars will face Penn State in the Hall of Fame Showcase at Mohegan Sun.
In the team's in-season tournament, the Friars will play two games in the Rady's Children Invitational scheduled for Nov. 27-28 in San Diego, California. The other teams in the tournament are TCU, Wisconsin, and Florida. Game times for the Rady's Children Invitational will be released at a later date. All games of the tournament will be televised on FOX/FS1.
