Men’s Basketball To Participate In The 2026 Southwest Maui Invitational

It will mark the Friars' fourth appearance in the Maui Invitational.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – It was announced today (Sept. 10) that that the Providence College Friars men's basketball team will be participating in the 2026 Southwest Maui Invitational in Maui, Hawaii on Nov. 23-25, 2026.
The Friars will join a talented field that includes Arizona, BYU, Clemson, Washington, VCU, Colorado State and Ole Miss in the 12-game, three-day event.
The complete schedule of events will be posted at a later date.
The Friars have posted a 4-4 record all-time in their three trips to the Maui Invitational (1984, 1991, 2020). Providence claimed the title at the inaugural Maui Invitational Tournament in 1984.
