Men’s Basketball Announces 2025-26 BIG EAST Conference Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College men's basketball 2025-26 BIG EAST schedule was announced today (Sept. 11). The game times and the television broadcast assignments will be announced at a later date. The Friars will play a 20-game league schedule with Providence playing each of the other 10 conference teams once at home and once on the road. Providence will play its BIG EAST home opener against Seton Hall on Friday, December 19 at the Amica Mutual Pavilion (the AMP) in Providence, R.I.
Providence's other BIG EAST home matchups will be versus UConn on Wednesday, January 7; versus Villanova on Tuesday, January 13; versus Creighton on Friday, January 16; versus Georgetown on Saturday, January 24; versus Butler on Wednesday, February 4; versus DePaul on Saturday, February 7; versus St. John's on Saturday, February 14; versus Xavier on Tuesday, February 24 and versus Marquette on Wednesday, March 4.
The team will play 10 league road games. The Friars' BIG EAST road opener will be at Butler on Saturday, December 13. The team's other nine league road games will be at St. John's on Saturday, January 3; at Xavier on Saturday, January 10; at Marquette on Monday, January 19; at UConn on Tuesday, January 27; at Villanova on Friday, January 30; at Seton Hall on Wednesday, February 11; at DePaul on Saturday, February 21; at Creighton on Saturday, February 28 and at Georgetown on Saturday, March 7.
