Providence, R.I...... The Providence College men's swimming and diving team was defeated by Boston College, 184-111 on Nov. 9 at Taylor Natatorium.
Junior Michael Frenza (Watertown, Conn.) led the Friars, posting victories in the 200 meter freestyle, 100 meter freestyle and took third in the 400 meter freestyle. Junior Matt Donahue (Seekonk, Mass.) and freshman John Woychick (Stroudsburg, Pa.) notched wins in the 50 meter freestyle and the 200 meter backstroke, respectively.
The Friars drop to 1-2 on the season and will return to action on Nov. 20 at Holy Cross, in Worcester, Mass.
