PC Women's Swimming defeats Holy Cross, 139-104

Providence, R.I....... The Providence College Women's swimming and diving team defeated the Holy Cross Crusaders 139-104, on Nov. 20 at Holy Cross. The Providence men were handed 133-110 defeat. Leading the charge on the women's side was Meghan Robinson, (Plano, Texas) the senior captain captured victories in the 200 meter individual medley, 200 meter backstroke, and competed on the lead leg of the victorious 400 meter medley relay team. The women improve to 3-1 on the season, and will return to action on Dec. 3-4 at the Harold Anderson Invitational, at the University of Rhode Island.
On the men's side, senior Kevin Reeder (Southbury, Conn.)led the Friars recording victories in the 200 meter backstroke, 200 meter individual medley, and the anchored the first place 400 individual medley relay. Junior Mike Frenza (Watertown, Conn) was a double winner in the 100 meter freestyle and the 200 meter freestyle.
The Friar men fall to 1-3 for the year, the squad will also return to action on Dec. 3rd at the Harold Anderson Invitational.
