Providence Men's Tennis Improves to 2-0

The Providence College men's tennis team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 6-1 victory at the University of New Hampshire on Sunday, September 30.
Seniors Matt Jarvis (Fairhaven, Mass.) and Craig Roslund (Huntington, N.Y.) paced the Friars with singles wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, respectively. Freshman Nick Poulos (Scituate, Mass.) posted a 6-0, 7-6 win at the No. 4 spot.
Jarvis and senior Chris Overzat (New Rochelle, N.Y.) teamed to post an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles. Roslund and Pat Moynihan (Queensbury, N.Y.) also won, 8-5, at No. 2 doubles.
The Friars are back in action on Saturday, October 6 as they host Faifield.
