The Providence College men's tennis was fell, 5-2, at the University of Miami on Thursday, March 28 at the University of Rhode Island
Seniors Craig Roslund (Huntington, N.Y.) and Pat Moynihan (Queensbury, N.Y.) each earned singles victories at No. 2 and No. 5, respectively, to lead the Friars. Moynihan outlasted URI's Karl Antons in three sets, winning in the final set in a tiebreaker (7-3). Roslund battled back from one set down and captured the next two sets, while dropping only two games.
With the loss, PC dropped to 5-6 overall and 2-6 in the spring season. The Friars return to action on Tuesday, April 2 as they host Boston College in Providence, R.I. at 2:00 p.m.
