ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Prosper Karangwa had 24 points and 10 rebounds as Siena beat Providence, 89-81, Saturday.
Siena (8-3) led 39-34 at halftime, but Providence rallied three minutes into the second half, taking the lead on two 3s by Chris Anrin. The lead changed hands several times in the half, but the Saints went on a game-winning spurt, highlighted by buckets by Karangwa, Michael Haddix and Antoine Jordan.
Haddix tallied 20 points and 22 rebounds in the game, while Jordan and Tommy Mitchell added 16 points apiece.
Maris Laksa led the Friars (7-4) with 19 points. Ryan Gomes had 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Donnie McGrath scored 13 points. Tuukka Kotti and Chris Anrin added 10 points apiece for Providence.
Siena outrebounded Providence 52-33.
