Men's Swimming And Diving Competes At Boston College

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Providence College men's swimming and diving team (1-3) competed at Boston College last night, and won five events against the Eagles, but lost the overall meet, 150-107. Senior Seth Brockman (Kenner, La.) won two individual events and helped the 200-yard medley relay squad to a victory as well.
Brockman captured the 200-yard freestyle with a first-place time of 1:50.59 and won the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:07.88. He also was a member of the 200-yard medley relay team that placed first with a time of 1:44.16. Freshmen Ryan Clark (Taunton, Mass.), Chris Ray (Basking Ridge, N.J.) and Justin Rich (Branford, Conn.) rounded out the relay effort.
Rich also won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 57.05 while freshman Nick Trilla (Belmont, Mass.) won the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:42.60
The Providence College men's and women's swimming and diving teams returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 12 at Montclair State.
