East Meadow, N.Y. - The Providence College men's and women's swimming & diving teams competed in the the BIG EAST Championships at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, N.Y., February 14-17. On Wednesday, February 14, the men's 800-yard Freestyle Relay composed of freshman Tim Reilly (Floral Park, N.Y.), freshman Matt Card (Bow, N.H.), sophomore Ryan Clark (Taunton, Mass.), and senior Tom McLoughlin (Middletown, N.J.) placed 11th in a time of 7:15.83. The women's 200-yard Medley Relay composed of sophomore Blair Flynn (Middletown, R.I.), senior Annie Nemeth (Pittsburgh, Pa.), senior Carolyn Rider (Freehold, N.J.), and senior Emily Corcoran (Haverhill, Mass.) finished 12th in a time of 1:54.65. On Thursday, February 15, the women's 200-yard Freestyle Relay composed of sophomore Blair Flynn, senior Katelyn Flynn (Sinking Spring, Pa.), senior Emily Corcoran, and senior Annie Nemeth finished 12th in a time of 1:43.25. The men's 200-yard Freestyle Relay team made up of senior Tom McLoughlin (Leonardo, N.J.), freshman Matt Card, freshman Ryan Clark, and freshman Tim Reilly finished 12th in a time of 1:29.85. In the 200-yard Individual Medley, Katelyn Flynn finished 36th in a time of 2:13.55 and Annie Nemeth took 37th in 2:13.74. On Friday, February 16, 2007, the women's `A' 400-yard Medley Relay team placed 10th in a time of 4:07.64 and the men's `A' 400-yard Medley Relay team placed 12th in 3:39.67.
