CSCAA Announces Division I Academic All-American Teams

The College Swim Coaches Association of America announced on Wednesday, October 22 the 2008 Academic All-America teams and individuals. The Providence College swimming & diving teams, both men's and women's, were once again honored as two of the top academic performers in the country. Those Division I schools that were honored had a team Grade Point Average of at least 3.0.
Providence Head Coach John O'Neill: "We're pleased to be honored once again and look to continue the program's long history of academic success."
The Friar women's team placed 60th in the national poll, while the men ranked 44th. The full lists of schools and individual honorees can be found at the link below.
