Women's Tennis Downed by Sacred Heart, 5-2

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College women's tennis team was downed by Sacred Heart, 5-2, on Thursday (March 17) at Centre Court in East Providence, R.I. The Friars fell to 2-6 in dual match play this season.

Providence opened the match by claiming the doubles point as the duos of Olivia Wright/Julia Migliorini and Kate Mulvey/Emmie Lindholm won their matches, 6-1 and 7-6, respectively. The Pioneers rallied to win five of six singles matches to claim the contest. Mulvey earned the lone singles win for the Friars.

Providence is back on action on Sunday, March 20 at home against Bryant at 12 p.m.
