PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College Athletics Department held its annual Hannoush Jewelers Friar Golf Classic on Monday, June 13 at Warwick Country Club in Warwick, R.I. The sold-out event raised $150,000 and in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Women at Providence College, a flagship gift was made to support women's athletics in Friartown.

Providence College Athletics would like to thank Hannoush Jewelers, the title sponsor for this event, as well as presenting sponsors: Coast to Coast Promotional Products, Finecto, Lax & Co., Millonzi Fine Catering, Rossi Electric, and UG2.

Player gifts were sponsored by Nike, Prime Time Sports, and Samsonite. Guests were treated to steaks and oysters on the course, courtesy of The Capital Grille. Coca Cola and Haxton Liquors provided on-course beverages and all signage was donated generously by Graphic Innovations.

The dinner program was sponsored by Coastal1 Credit Union and featured speaking from Men's Basketball Head Coach Ed Cooley, Volleyball Head Coach Margot Royer-Johnson, Athletics Director Steve Napolillo '98, and Providence College President Rev. Kenneth Sicard O.P. '78, '82G.

"The annual Hannoush Friar Golf Classic at Warwick Country Club is one of my favorite days of the year," Napolillo said. "I am grateful to all the sponsors and players who generously donate to PC Athletics.
