PROVIDENCE, R.I. -Â Providence College sophomore midfielder
Bo Martina was named to the NFHCA Division I All-Northeast Region First Team, sponsored by Apex Field Hockey [December 4]. It marks the first all-region accolades for Martina during her two-year career with the Friars, and comes on the heels of earning All-BIG EAST First Team recognition in early November.

Martina played 17 games for the Friars in 2024 and was tied for the team lead in points (18), first in assists (eight) and tied for second in goals scored (five). Each of her offensive totals marked single-season career highs. She recorded her first multi-goal game with the Friars against Dartmouth and finished with a career-best five points on two goals and one assist. Martina also recorded the first two multi-assist games of her young career vs. Holy Cross (two) and Villanova (two).

Martina finished tied for ninth in the BIG EAST in points per game during regular-season league play (1.29) and tied for seventh in assists per game (0.43). During the season, Martina was a three-time BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll selection (Sept. 17, Sept. 24, Oct. 22).

First Team selections from each region are eligible for NFHCA All-America recognition, which will be released on Dec. 17.
