PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College swimming team was defeated by Villanova in dual meet action, 187-73, on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Taylor Natatorium in Providence, R.I.
A trio of Friars claimed second-place finishes in their respective events.
Gabe Hawkins was second in the 200-meter free with a time of 1:57.12.
Jack Nowak placed second in the 100-meter backstroke (1:00.20) and
Aidan Puk hit the wall second in the 200-meter butterfly with a time of 2:12.31.
The Friars opened the meet with a second-place finish in the 200-meter medley relay. The team comprised of

Thomas Bowers finished the race in a time of 1:46.94.
