Aubrey Easterwood Name To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Easterwood was featured on the league’s honor roll for the first time this season.
PROVIDENCE R.I. – It was announced today (Sep. 7) that Providence College freshman middle blocker Aubrey Easterwood (Dallas, Texas) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. It marked the first weekly conference honor of her career.
Easterwood led the Friars' offense to an undefeated weekend at the Ocean State Cup against Brown, Bryant and Rhode Island. She recorded 29 kills and averaged 2.42 kills per set. Easterwood also totaled 18 blocks on the weekend and currently leads the BIG EAST in blocks per set at 1.45.
WHAT'S NEXT: The Friars return to action on Sept. 11-12 to host the 21st Annual Friar Classic at Alumni Hall in Providence, R.I. Providence will face Manhattan on Friday, Sept. 11 at 7:00 p.m. The Friars will then play a double header on Saturday against Stonehill at 1:30 p.m. and Holy Cross.
