2011-2012: Played 29 of the Friars' 30 games and appeared in the starting line-up 28 times... Only game she missed was against Villanova on December 7... Finished the season ranked second on the team in scoring (10.7 ppg)... Also contributed 5.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.5 steals per game... Recorded a career-high 22 points against Harvard (11/18)... Recorded a career-high 10 rebounds against Cincinnati (2/7)...... Dished a career-best five assists in back-to-back games against Akron (12/28) and Hartford (12/31)... Collected a career-high five steals against Marquette (1/21)... Scored in double figures 17 times... Led the team with 43 three-point field goals ... In the Friars' game against West Virginia on January 14, Barnes scored a game-high 19 points, including 14 in the second half to lift Providence to a 51-48 victory... The Friars trailed by 10 at halftime, marking the first victory of the season when trailing their opponent at the half... Against Marquette on January 21, Barnes hit two free throws with one-tenth of a second left to lift the Friars to a 52-50 victory... She finished the Marquette game with 11 points, six rebounds and a career-best five steals... Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on December 26.
2010-2011: Appeared in 12 games overall and cracked the starting line-up twice... Played her first collegiate game with the Friars against Saint Joseph's on November 12 after tranferring from Seward County Community College... Recorded four points, three rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 21 minutes...On November 14 against Massachusetts, she posted a season-high 11 points, seven rebounds and two steals... Matched her season-high of three assists in games vs. UMass (11/14/10) and Florida (12/4/10)... Averaged 5.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game...Named to Brown BEAR Classic All-Tournament Team.
BEFORE PROVIDENCE: Spent the previous two seasons at Seward County Community College... Earned First-Team NJCAA All-America honors...Also was named Jayhawk West Player of the Year and Region IV Player of the Year... Finished third in the country in scoring with an average of 21.3 points per game... Scored 1,169 points during her two seasons at Seward County Community College... Was a First-Team All-Conference and All-Region selection during her first season in 2008-09... Played high school basketball at Windsor High School in Connecticut...
