Abbie Wiinikainen was named Assistant Ticket Manager & Data Insights Coordinator in 2023. In her role, she supports the day-to-day operations of the Athletics Ticketing Office and directly oversees Women’s Basketball ticketing strategy and execution. She also leads digital marketing initiatives, marketing automation, and department-wide revenue generation reporting, using data insights to inform strategy and drive performance.
Prior to her current position at Providence College, Wiinikainen served as a Graduate Assistant in the Ticket Office during the 2022–23 season.
Wiinikainen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Providence College in 2022 and a Master of Science in Business Analytics in 2023.
She is an active member of NAATSO (National Association of Athletic Ticket Sales & Operations), serving on multiple committees. In 2025, her team was recognized as NAATSO Ticket Team of the Year.
Wiinikainen currently resides in Providence and is originally from Massachusetts.
