Macy Szukics embarks on her first season as an assistant coach at Providence College in 2026. She begins her coaching career with the Friars following an impressive career at Duke University.
Szukics, played 82 games for the Blue Devils with 67 appearances in the starting line-up. She was named team captain as a senior during the 2025 campaign and finished her career with 34 points on seven goals and 20 assists. Four of her seven goals during her career were game winners. In addition to her success on the field, Szukics also excelled in the classroom as a NFHCA National Academic Team selection and NFHCA Scholar of Distinction. Additionally, she was recognized as an All-ACC Academic Team and ACC Academic Honor Roll selection.
Szukics played on the United States U21 Junior National Team and also served on the U21 Leadership Committee in 2025. She competed with Team U.S.A. at the Junior Pan American Games in Paraguay in August 2025 and helped guide her squad to a Silver Medal. Szukics has been active in the U.S. Field Hockey since entering the pipeline as part of the U14 squad. She also has competed for the U.S. U16, U17, U18 and U19 teams during her career.
