Mikaela Lee began her career as the assistant athletic director of external operations and major gifts officer at Providence College in August of 2024.

Lee works with all 21 Friar Athletic programs as a fundraiser for strategic needs.  She also manages athletic alumni events, serves as a steward and engages former Friar Athletes, assists with hospitality events and manages special events, including Jersey Retirements and Hall of Fame ceremonies.

Prior to her current position at Providence College, Lee served as a Business Development Associate at Learfield within the Brown Athletics and Recreation Departments from 2022-24. 

Lee graduated from Providence College in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and received a master’s degree in business administration in 2022.  While earning her master's degree, Lee worked as a Ticket Office Graduate Assistant at Providence College (2020-22).

Lee, a former Rhode Island All-State selection in track and basketball, is originally from North Scituate, Rhode Island, where she currently resides.
