Seton Hall (9-6) - On Wednesday, Seton Hall upset nationally ranked St. John's, 1-0, in overtime. The Pirates have posted a 5-4-0 mark in BIG EAST action this season ... The last time Seton Hall played at PC, the Pirates defeated the Friars, 5-1, in 1997. Seton Hall has recorded a 6-4-3 record all-time against Providence ... On offense, senior forward Peter Scavo (Raritan, N.J.) leads all scorers in the BIG EAST with 14 goals and six assists in 14 games. Freshman goalkeeper Efren Aguirre (Georgetown, Texas) has played in 14 games, recording three shutouts and a 1.66 goals against average.

Providence College (6-8-1) - The Friars must win on Sunday to have any chance of being one of the eight league teams to qualify for the BIG EAST Playoffs. PC is currently in ninth place in league standings with a 4-6-0 mark ... Last week, Providence posted its fourth BIG EAST win of the season with a 3-1 victory at Georgetown on October 23. On Tuesday, the Friars defeated Quinnipiac, 4-1, at Glay Field ... Sunday's game will be the final home contest for PC's five seniors ... Last season, PC and Seton Hall played to a 0-0 tie ... Junior forward Kevin Jones (Westford, Mass.) has been the key to the Friars' offense this season. Jones leads the team in goals (eight) and scoring (21 points). Freshman goalkeeper Michael Cardenas (Framingham, Mass.) has started the last two games for the Friars. Cardenas has posted a 3-2-1 mark, a 1.57 goals against average and a .758 save percentage.
