MEN'S SOCCER vs. RUTGERS UNIVERSITY AT PROVIDENCE COLLEGE

Rutgers University (3-4) - Rutgers opened the season with four consecutive losses before winning its next three games, including Friday's 1-0 overtime victory at Boston College ... Rutgers has registered a 2-2 mark in BIG EAST play this season ... Rutgers has recorded three straight wins against the Friars ... Junior Dennis Ludwig (Mt. Laurel, N.J.) leads the offense with 13 points (six goals, one assist) in seven games. Sophomore goalkeepers Ricky Zinter (Penfield, N.Y.) and J.D. Martin (North Brunswick, N.J.) have shared the goaltending duties this season. The two goalkeepers have combined to post a 1.68 goals against average, a .676 save percentage and a 3-4-0 mark.

Providence College (1-5-1) - Providence improved to 1-2-1 in BIG EAST action on Friday with a 2-2 tie against Villanova at PC's Glay Field ... On Sunday, the Friars will play their fifth consecutive BIG EAST contest when they host Rutgers ... Last season, the Friars were defeated by Rutgers, 3-1, at Piscataway, N.J. The Friars will be looking for their first win ever against Rutgers. The Friars have a 0-4-1 mark all-time versus the Scarlet Knights ... Senior Kevin Jones (Westford, Mass.) leads the team in scoring with four points (two goals). Junior goalkeeper Danny Glynn (Manchester, England) has played in all seven games for the Friars. Glynn has posted a 1-5-1 mark, a 1.83 goals against average and a .725 save percentage.
