Men's Soccer To Host Harvard On Tuesday

Harvard University (4-2-0) - Harvard enters Tuesday's game with a 4-2 mark and a 1-0 record in Ivy League action ... In their most recent game, the Crimson defeated Maine, 7-0, on September 29 in Cambridge, Mass. ... Harvard leads the all-time series between the two teams, 3-2. The Crimson's last win over the Friars was a 2-1 victory in 1997 ... Sophomore midfielder Ladd Fritz (Tulsa, Okla.) leads the team in goals (four) and is tied for the team lead in scoring (nine points). Sophomore midfielder Kevin Ara (Upland, Calif.) also is tied for the team lead in scoring with nine points (three goals, three assists). Senior goalkeeper Dan Mejias (Garnerville, N.Y.) has started four of the team's six games this season, posting a 1.35 goals against average and a .783 save percentage.

Providence College (0-6-1) - On Tuesday, Providence will be looking to earn its first win of the season ... In the last meeting between Providence and Harvard, the Friars earned a 3-2 overtime victory in Cambridge, Mass. ... Last week, the Friars recorded a 0-1-1 mark. PC earned a 3-3 tie at New Hampshire on September 26 and was defeated at Georgetown (1-0) on September 29 ... The Friars' offense has struggled this season. The squad has been shutout in six of its seven games ... Senior Russell Corner (Abington, Mass.), senior Danny Glynn (Dublin, Ireland) and freshman Jeff Smith (Omaha, Neb.) each have one goal this season. Senior goalkeeper Danny Glynn (Manchester, England) has started all seven games this season for the Friars. Glynn has posted a 2.42 goals against average and a .640 save percentage.
