Men's Soccer To Host Brown on Tuesday

Brown University (3-5-0) - Brown enters Tuesday's game with a 3-5 mark and a 1-0 record in Ivy League action ... In their most recent game, the Bears defeated Columbia, 1-0, on October 6 in Providence ... Brown leads the all-time series between the two teams, 13-7-3. Brown has won the last six games between the two teams ... Senior forward Adrian Rapp (Sausalito, Calif) and sophomore Adam Crew (Columbia, Md.) are tied for the team lead in scoring with nine points. Rapp leads the team in goals with four. Senior Peter Mahoney (Wellesley, Mass.) and freshman Chris Gomez (Bellflower, Calif.) have shared the goalkeeper duties this season.

Providence College (0-7-1) - On Tuesday, the Friars will face their second consecutive Ivy League opponent. In the Friars most recent game, Harvard defeated PC, 3-0, at Glay Field on October 2 ... In the last meeting between Providence and Brown, the Bears earned a 3-2 win at Brown last season. PC's most recent victory over Brown was a 2-1 win in 1993 ... The Friars' offense has struggled this season. Senior Russell Corner (Abington, Mass.), senior Kempes Corbally (Dublin, Ireland) and freshman Jeff Smith (Omaha, Neb.) each have one goal this season. Senior goalkeeper Danny Glynn (Manchester, England) has started all eight games this season for the Friars. Glynn has posted a 2.49 goals against average and a .632 save percentage.
