Men's Tennis Edges Fairfield, 4-3

The Providence College men's tennis team completed its Florida trip with a 4-3 win against Fairfield on Thursday, March 7 in Orlando, Fla.

Freshman Nick Poulos (Fairhaven, Mass.), seniors Pat Moynihan (Queensbury, N.Y.) and Luke Cavanagh (Greenville, R.I.) and junior Eric McPheat (Windsor Locks, Conn.) all recorded singles victories to lead the Friars. McPheat and Cavanagh posted an 8-5 win at No. 3 doubles.

With the win, PC improved to 5-5 overall and 2-5 in the spring season. The Friars are back in action on Thursday, March 28 as they will play Rhode Island in Kingston.
