The Providence College men's tennis team suffered a 7-0 setback against the University of Southern Indiana on Wednesday, March 6 in Orlando, Fla.

Seniors Matt Jarvis (Fairhaven, Mass.) and Craig Roslund (Huntington, N.Y.) played at No. 1 and No. 2 singles and were defeated in straight sets. Junior Eric McPheat (Windsor Locks, Conn.) won the first set of his No. 6 singles match, but fell short as he dropped the next two sets.

The Friars dropped to 4-5 on the season, including a 1-5 record in the spring season.
