Men's Tennis Defeats Holy Cross, 7-0

The Friars began the afternoon by sweeping all three doubles matches led by seniors Chris Overzat (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and Matthew Jarvis (Fairhaven, Mass.) who posted an 8-3 win at the No. 1 spot. In singles, senior Craig Roslund (Huntington, N.Y.) played at the top position and recorded a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Holy Cross Tim Carey (Wheaton, Ill.). Jarvis was victorious at the No. 2 position, while freshman Nick Poulos (Scituate, Mass.) won in three sets at No. 3.
Seniors Pat Moynihan (Queensbury, N.Y.), Overzat and Luke Cavanagh (Greenville, R.I.) recorded straight set wins at the No. 4, 5 and 6 positions, respectively.
PC improved to 4-8 in the spring season and 7-8 overall. Holy Cross fell to 3-11 overall. The Friars will play at St. John's on Saturday, April 13 in their next match.
