SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The Providence College men's and women's track team opened competition at the 2005 Men's and Women's NCAA Track & Field Championships in Sacramento, Calif. on Wednesday, June 8. Junior Fiona Crombie (Christchurch, New Zealand) placed fourth overall (10:08.64) in the preliminaries of the 3,000 meter steeplechase and qualified for the finals of the steeplechase on Friday, June 10 at 10:05 p.m. EST. On the men's side, junior Martin Fagan (Mullinagar, Ireland) finished 22nd overall (14:27.71) in the preliminaries of the 5,000 meters.
