O’Neill placed 15th overall in the 800-meter semifinal.

EUGENE, Ore. – Providence College junior Maeve O'Neill (Cork, Ireland) competed in the women's 800-meter semifinal at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore., on June 11. O'Neill finished 15th overall and fifth in her heat in a time of 2:01.48. The top-nine finishers advanced to the final.

O'Neill earned Second Team All-America honors in the 800 meters with her 15th-place finish.
