Providence, which is seeking its first ever BIG EAST title, has advanced to the BIG EAST Championship final match for the second time ever and the first time since 1984 ... The Friars also have won seven consecutive games for the first time since 1984 ... Providence has played Cincinnati four times in the BIG EAST Tournament and has posted a 3-1 record against the Bearcats ... Chaka Daley has led the Friars to a 9-4-2 record in the BIG EAST Tournament in the last six years, including a 3-0 mark this year ... Providence's 12 wins this season are the most since the 2006 squad finished with 13 triumphs ... The school record for most wins in one season is 14 which was set in 1984.
