The Friars made history by playing in their first home NCAA Championship match ... Providence improved to 2-4 in the NCAA Championship as they earned their first NCAA Tournament win since 2005 ... The six goals are the most by a Friar team since 1987 ... Overall, Providence has 32 goals this season which is the most by a Friar team since 1986 ... Providence's current 10-game unbeaten streak (8-0-2) is its longest since the 1984 season ... In addition, the 13 wins this season are the most since 2006 squad finished with a 13-7-0 mark ...
