Friars Compete At ECAC Outdoor Championships

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Providence College women's outdoor track and field team competed at the ECAC Outdoor Championships today, Friday, May 10 in Princeton, N.J. The Friars had two runners entered into competition for the championships.
Senior Sam Roecker (Charlton, N.Y.) ran in the women's 5000 meter run. Roecker finished the race with a time of 16:49.15.
Classmate Shelby Greany (Suffern, N.Y.) claimed a seventh place finish in the women's 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:30.17.
The Friars are back in action when freshman Julian Oakley (Tauranga, New Zealand) will compete in the men's 1500 meter run at the Boston New Balance Twilight series on Saturday, May 11. The meet will take place at the Bentley University Track in Waltham, Mass.
