PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College men's swimming and diving team fell to Villanova University 117-83 on Saturday, Jan. 17 in Providence R.I.
Senior John Fatigati (Mahwah, N.J.) led the team with two first-place finishes in the 200m IM (2:11.34) and the 200m backstroke (2:12.37). Senior Justin Tse (Framingham, Mass.) took second place in the 100m freestyle (54.40) and third place in the 200m freestyle (1:58.81). The 200m medley relay team consisting of Tse, freshman Connor Fabian (LaGrange Park, Ill.), Fatigati, and freshman Charles Sabaitis (Spring Lake, N.J.) earned second place with a time of 1:51.74.
The Friars will close out their home schedule next Saturday, Jan. 24, when they host the Holy Cross Crusaders at 11 a.m. at Taylor Natatorium in Providence, R.I.
