Women's Hockey Travels to Vermont For Two Games

FOR STARTERS...
• Providence will travel to Burlington, Vt. for two Hockey East games against the Catamounts.
• The Friars play at 2:00 p.m. on Nov. 13 and at 4:00 p.m. on Nov. 14 at Gutterson Field House.

LAST TIME OUT...
• Providence claimed their first victory of the 2015-16 season, coming back from a 4-2 third period deficit.
• Five different Friars registered two or more points, and seven Friars registered a point.
• Christina Putigna collected three points on a power play goal and two assists, becoming the first Friar to record three points in a game.
• The goal was Putigna's first of her career and the game was a career high for her.

SCOUTING THE CATAMOUNTS...
• The Catamounts are 2-8-0 (2-2-0 WHEA) on the 2015-16 season.
• Vermont is led by senior forward Dayna Colang, who has recorded four goals and one assist for five points.
• Thirteen Catamounts have registered at least one point during the 2015-16 season.
• Vermont has claimed two wins this season, both against Hockey East opponents. Their first win was against the Friars, 3-1, (Oct. 24). The Catamounts defeated Maine, 4-2, on Nov. 1.

FRESHMAN FIRSTS...
• Myers recorded her first collegiate win against New Hampshire, 5-4 (Nov. 7).
• Christina Putigna collected her first collegiate goal on Nov. 7 when the Friars defeated UNH, 5-4. • Putigna's goal was a power play goal.
• Putigna notched three points in the game, marking a career high for her.
• Danielle Hardy notched her first career goal on Saturday, Oct. 17 against Colgate.
• The Hardy goal is also Providence's second power-play tally of the season.
• Christina Putigna tallied her first assist of the season on the Hardy goal.
• Emily Landry recorded her first collegiate point, with an assist on Brooke Boquist's first goal of the season against Colgate (10/17).
