Alex Vigliotti Named BIG EAST Rookie Of The Week

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The BIG EAST Conference announced the final BIG EAST Weekly honors of the season today (Nov. 9). Freshman Alex Vigliotti (Brandford, Conn.) was named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week.

Vigliotti earned the honor after his first career two-goal game performance against St. John's on Nov. 5 to propel the Friars to a 4-0 win and earn the No. 6 seed in the BIG EAST Tournament. The honor marked Vigliotti's first BIG EAST weekly honor.

Vigliotti and the Friars will return to action when they travel to Creighton for the BIG EAST Tournament Semifinal on Nov. 12 at 8:00 p.m. ET.
