Jerzyk Named To All-BIG EAST Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - It was announced by the BIG EAST conference on Thursday, Feb. 26 that freshman diver Kendall Jerzyk (Madison, Conn.) earned All-Conference Honors.

Kendall was an accomplished gymnast in high school who entered the sport of diving this past September. She improved month-to-month, culminating in a third-place finish at the BIG EAST Championships. She tallied 449.95 points on the one-meter board, earning the highest finish at the BIG EAST Championships in the history of the Friar program.

It also was announced on Wednesday, Feb. 25 that Jerzyk nabbed the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rookie of the Week Award.
