GAME FLOW & NOTES
- The Friars' best chance of the game came in the 13thminute of play. Joao Serrano (Evora, Portugal) curled a free kick from just outside box around the wall, but it sailed over the crossbar.
- At the end of the first half, Creighton led 6-4 in shots and also had the 2-1 edge in shots on goal.
- In the 76thminute, the Bluejays recorded back-to-back shots. The first shot by Noah Franke was blocked by Brian Kennedy (Upland, Calif.). Lucas Stauffer followed up with a shot that went just wide of the near post.
- In the second overtime period, Kennedy was awarded a second yellow card, which resulted in a red. He was sent off in the 103rdminute, leaving the Friars a man-down with seven minutes to play.
- Colin Miller (Bel Air, Md.) made six saves in net for the Friars, including several crucial ones to preserve the shutout. It was his third of the season.
- Mac Steeves (Needham, Mass.) and Alex Vigliotti (Branford, Conn.) were the only Friars to record shots on goal.
