GAME FLOW & NOTES
- Just over five minutes into the game, Luis Argudo netted the first goal for the Demon Deacons. Sophomore defender Eddie Folds played a ball across the box from left to right, which Argudo blasted into the top of the net.
- The Friars had their best chance of the first half in the 19th minute. Red-shirt senior Mac Steeves (Needham, Mass.) flicked a header toward goal, which was tipped by over the crossbar by Cases Mundet.
- Around the midway point of the first half, red-shirt freshman Tony Billeri (Cumberland, R.I.) made two big diving saves.
- The ensuing corner kick led to the Demon Deacons second goal. Freshman Brandon Servania served a ball into the middle of the box where the awaiting Kevin Politz headed it into the back of the net.
- Less than two minutes later, Liam Wilson (Sussex, England) found the back of the net for his second career goal. Joao Serrano (Evora, Portugal) took a corner, which bounced around in the box before Wilson tapped it home.
- Serrano's assist gives him a point for the second consecutive game and brings him to three points on the season. He has already surpassed his point total from the 2016 season.
- Steeves nearly converted on the Friars' second corner of the night. His header went off the back-post and right into the hands of Mundet with 34 minutes remaining in the match.
- Jon Bakero scored the Demon Deacons fourth goal after a give-and-go at the top of the box. He shot the ball hard into the bottom left corner for a tally with just over 16 minutes remaining.
