The sophomore forward notched a career-high six points on three goals and three assists against Brown (Nov. 30).

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sara Hjalmarsson (Bankeryd, Sweden) of the Providence College women's hockey team was named Hockey East Player of the Week, as announced by the conference on Dec. 2. It marks the sophomore's first-career Player of the Week honor.

The Friars wrap up the first semester of play with a home-and-home series against UConn. Providence hosts the Huskies on Thursday, Dec. 5 (6:00 p.m.) and travels to Storrs on Friday, Dec. 6 (6:00 p.m.).
