Tomas Mazura notched his first career NCAA goal after finishing off a
Craig Needham centering feed at 15:25 of the first period.
Jamie Engelbert earned his third assist of the season.
- The teams battled through a scoreless second period for 19:16 until freshman
Riley Duran gave the Friars some insurance with his first career goal on a short side net drive.
- The third period proved to be a time for special teams, as the two teams combined for 36 penalty minutes in the final frame.
- Providence killed off three penalties to begin the third period and extended its lead off of a
Parker Ford shorthanded goal at 4:53 to make it 4-1 Friars.
