Kohen Olischefski each scored but No. 1 Minnesota State got a hat trick from Reggie Lutz en route to a 5-2 win over the No. 10 Providence College men's hockey team on Friday (Oct. 15) at AMSOIL Arena.

Brett Berard responded just 39 seconds later with a power-play goal, his fourth tally of the season to even the game at 1-1.

- Ryan Sandelin regained the lead for Minnesota State with 90 seconds to play in the opening period.
