STORRS, Conn. – Trailing 5-0 entering the third period, the No. 15 Providence College men's hockey team scored three times in the opening 6:23, but couldn't inch any closer in an eventual 5-3 loss to UConn in the regular season finale on Friday night at Freitas Ice Forum. With the loss, Providence will be the fifth seed in the Hockey East Tournament and travel back to Storrs to face the Huskies next Sunday (March 14).
