ORONO, Maine – Victor Ostman stopped all 52 shots he faced as Maine completed a sweep over the No. 17/16 Providence College men's hockey team with a 3-0 win on Saturday night (Jan. 28).

- Maine got the first once again as Lynden Breen's tip at the backdoor on the power play gave the Black Bears a 1-0 lead at 6:09 of the first period.
- Providence outshot Maine by a 16-4 margin in the opening 20 minutes.
- The Friars continued to dominate play in the second period, outshooting the Black Bears by a 19-5 margin in the middle period.
- Maine extended its lead to 2-0 with another power play goal at 9:19 of the third period by Donovan Villeneuve-Houle.
- Ostman keep the Friars at bay for the remainder of regulation.
- Didrik Henbrant added an empty-net goal with 14 seconds remaining to account for the final scoring.
- Patrick Moynihan led the Friars with nine shots on goal.
