PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College volleyball Head Coach
Margot Royer-Johnson announced today [Dec. 5] that Morgan Martin signed an institutional letter of intent to attend Providence beginning in the fall of 2025 and compete as a member of the Friars' volleyball program.
"Morgan is a quick defensive player with drive and enthusiasm for the game," Royer-Johnson said, "She is super coachable and is a gritty player. She is a fast twitch athlete that makes her perfect for the speed of the BIG EAST game."
Martin is a 5'4' libero from Barrington, R.I. and plays for Barrington High School. She is a three-time All-division recipient and tallied 156 digs and 88 aces her senior season. Martin played a key role in helping her team win the 2024 State Championship. Martin plays club for Smash Volleyball.
