Softball Signs Nine Commitments Who Will Attend Providence College In 2026-27

Each of the student-athletes have signed athletic aid agreements to join the Friars in the Fall of 2026.

PROVIDENCE, R.I.- Providence College softball head coach Kelsey Christensen announced today (Nov. 14) that nine student-athletes have signed athletic aid agreements to attend Providence College as members of the softball team beginning in the Fall of 2026. The incoming class is comprised of Lilly Smith (Erie, Colo.), Olivia Cilli (Sparta, N.J.), Kadynce Delt (Howe, Okla.), Scarlette Tegtman (Crown Point, Ind.), Maggie Schlossberg (East Bridgewater, Mass.), Hadley West (Silver Lake, Ind.), Jane Stanley (McLean, Va.), Ryleigh Livesay (Spotsylvania, Va.) and Priscilla Andrin (Duluth, Ga.)

Smith, an infielder and utility player (first and third base) is a captain at Broomfield High School and plays Travel Ball for Triple Crown. At the plate, she posted a .420 batting average as a sophomore (2023), .453 as a junior (2024) and an impressive .507 average her senior year (2025). In both her junior and senior year, she held a flawless 1.000 fielding percentage. Her achievements include All-Conference First Team honors as a junior and senior, All-State First Team as a senior, and being recognized as the 2025 Granite Peaks League Player of the Year. Smith helped her team win the State Championship in 2025.

"Lilly is a field general and a natural born leader whose softball IQ is second to none," Christensen said, "She knows what it takes to elevate herself and those around her through hard work. Lilly is a clutch hitter who you can rely on in tough moments, and we are excited to watch her succeed in Friartown!"

Cilli, a pitcher at Pope John XXIII Regional High School and a player for New Jersey Intensity Premier BOD, has recorded 368 career strikeouts with a 2.42 ERA. She holds her school's record for career strikeouts and most strikeouts in a single season (180). Cilli was named Most Valuable Player and First Team All-County in 2023, 2024 and 2025. She was an important part of her team's success in winning the 2025 Division and County Championships. 

"Liv is the type of student-athlete that knows what it takes to succeed and will do whatever it takes to get there," Christensen said, "She is the first one out of the dugout to celebrate her teammates, but also the athlete you want with the ball in her hand with the game on the line. We can't wait for her to take the field in Friartown soon!"

Delt, a pitcher at Howe High School and a player for Triple Crown Kapelke, helped her team reach the State Finals in 2025, and the Super Regional Finals in 2023 and 2024. She holds the school record for career strikeouts with 918. Delt is a four-time County First Team Selection and a four-time All-Region selection. In 2023 she was named All District Pitcher of the Year, and she's been named Big 8 Conference Pitcher of the Year for three years in a row (2023, 2024, 2025).

"Kadynce is the type of pitcher who puts the team on her back and does whatever it takes to win," Christensen said, "She has a quiet confidence and competitiveness that fuels her success and empowers those around her. We can't wait to watch her dominate in the BIG EAST wearing black and white!"

Tegtman is an outfielder at Crown Point High School and plays Club Ball for the Beverly Bandits. She posted a .400 batting average her freshman year (2023), .430 as a sophomore (2024) and an impressive .473 her junior year (2025). In 2023 she was named Rookie of the Year. Her sophomore and junior year, she led her team in stolen bases (10, 20) and runs (30, 39). In her junior season, Tegtman reached 100 career hits and led her team to win the state championship (2025).

"Scarlette is an absolute spark on both offense and defense and a menace on the basepaths," Christensen said, "She is a scrappy ball player who knows what it takes to win. Scarlette will be a great asset to help us reach the next level and we cannot wait for her to get to work in Friartown!"

Schlossberg is a two-year captain and pitcher at East Bridgewater Jr Sr High School and a player for Fury Platinum 18U Carpe. She holds the school record for career strikeouts with 695. Her junior year she posted a 1.73 ERA and 1.46 BAA. She has been recognized as a league All Star four years in a row and led her team to the Elite 8 in 2025. 

"We are thrilled to bring in some local talent like Maggie whose skillset is a perfect match for our needs," Christensen said, "She is the ultimate teammate who's work ethic and drive is second to none and we are excited to watch her grow!"

West, a utility player (second base, third base, outfield) at Manchester Jr-Sr High School and a player for Indiana Magic Gold, demonstrated consistent performance across multiple seasons. In the 2023 high school season, she recorded 22 runs with a .382 batting average. As a sophomore, she logged 24 runs and posted a .479 batting average, earning her Second Team All-State honors (2024). West was named captain in the 2025 season and held an impressive .521 batting average and .578 on base percentage, leading her team to the sectional finals and earning her First Team All-Conference honors.

"Hadley is a one-of-a-kind competitor. We love her versatility on the field, especially her smooth hand on defense where she makes the toughest plays look easy," Christensen said, "Her drive to win and elevate those around her will undoubtedly make our program better and we cannot wait for her to make her mark here in Friartown!"

Stanley is a catcher, first base and outfielder at Flint Hill School and plays Travel Ball for Fury Platinum National. She is a three-time First Team All-Conference selection and has recorded 11 career home runs. As a freshman she posted a .536 batting average, .644 on base percentage and 16 RBIs earning her Second Team All-State honors (2023). In 2024, Stanley made First Team All-State after she logged a .615 batting average, .649 on base percentage and 25 RBIs. In her junior season, Stanley was named captain and recorded a .581 batting average, .740 on base percentage, and 24 RBIs, earning her a spot on the Second Team All-State.

"Jane is the type of athlete every team wants in their program, and we are thrilled she's calling Friartown home," Christensen said, "She brings power at the plate with true athleticism to match and we can't wait to see her excel in the black and white!" 

Livesay is a catcher and third base for Riverbend High School and plays Club Ball for Stars National Coleman 18u. In 2025, she earned First Team All-District, First Team All-Region, and Second Team All-State honors and helped her team win the district championship.

"Ryleigh is a battle tested warrior who has and continues to succeed while competing at the highest level against the stiffest competition," Christensen said, "Her versatility on defense will help elevate the team and her powerful swing will have an immediate impact on our offense!"

Andrin is a catcher and outfielder at The Mount Vernon School. She is a two-year captain and holds the record for career hits (176), doubles (54) and extra base hits (80). Andrin was recognized as Defensive Player of the Year in 2023 and 2024. As a junior, she was named Most Valuable Player and led her team to the state finals (2024). Her senior year she posted a .585 batting average and .654 on base percentage, earning First Team All-Region and First Team All-State honors as she helped her team to a top five finish.

"Priscilla's dedication to her craft and energy on the field is magnetic," Christensen said, "She naturally inspires those around her to be better. We are thrilled to call her a Friar as well as watch her lead and compete here!"
