Providence College Athletics Announces The Calabria Revenue Share Challenge

All gifts made to men’s basketball revenue share will be matched up to $250,000.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College Athletics announced the Calabria Revenue Share Challenge. Thanks to the generosity of Board of Trustees members, Joseph Calabria '65, '93P, and his wife, Sugar '93P, all gifts to Men's Basketball Revenue Share will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $250,000, until the end of the calendar year ending on December 31, 2025.
This challenge represents an exciting opportunity for Friar fans and supporters to double their impact and directly contribute to the program's competitive edge. The Calabria family's commitment highlights their long-standing passion for Providence College and their belief in the transformative power of athletics.
"We are deeply grateful to Joe and Sugar Calabria for their unwavering support," Athletic Director Steve Napolillo said. "Their matching gift challenge not only builds on our momentum—it amplifies our commitment to investing in the future of our student-athletes."
As of July 1st, NCAA regulations now allow supporters to make tax-deductible gifts to support our student-athletes directly.
