Ella McBride Named To The Preseason All-BIG EAST Team

The Friars were picked sixth in the BIG EAST Preseason Coaches’ Poll.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College women's soccer senior Ella McBride (Peterborough, Ont.) was named to the Preseason ALL-BIG EAST Team. The BIG EAST released its 2025 Preseason Coaches' Poll and preseason honors today (Aug. 12).
McBride, who earned All-BIG East Third Team honors as a junior in 2024, started in 12 games for the Friars. She finished tied for second on the team in points with eight on three goals and two assists.
The Friars were picked to finish sixth in the BIG EAST Preseason Coaches' Poll.
Providence College will open the 2025 regular season on Thursday (Aug. 14), hosting Army West Point on Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium beginning at 6:30 p.m.
